The Brill Razorcut 38 is the newest reel mower model from Brill. This precision designed machine is, in our opinion, the Audi of reel lawnmowers.
It has the same great features of past Brill push mowers, with a sleeker new look and an improved, stiffer handle.
You don't have to struggle with a hard-to-start, noisy, polluting gasoline powered mower. With a manual reel lawnmower, you just push and it mows! It's so quiet that you can listen to your I-Pod while you’re mowing and actually hear it. The Brill Razorcut 38 has no engine trouble, no running out of gas, and you don’t disturb your neighbors with noise.

Cutting height ranges from 15mm to 45mm (0.7” to 1.8”).This lets you cut low enough for the golf course look, and high enough for an average length cut for a wide variety of grass types.
Mowing width is 38 cm (about 15.2”). Small enough to maneuver easily through the yard, but still about 75 percent as wide as the average 20 inch wide gas mower.
St. Augustine, Zoysia, Bermuda grass and tall weeds typically pose problems for Brill mowers, because Brill mowers are lightweight. The reel will roll over heavy grass, tall weeds and dandelions without cutting much.
Which makes the lightweight easy to push Brill Razorcut 38 perfect for most other types of grass. Keep in mind how a gas mower will bog down when you try to mow grass that hasn't been cut in weeks, it's like that with a Brill Razorcut 38 reel mower, except you're the motor.
